2022 AAKF Spring Training Seminar
April 22-24, 2022, Madison, WI
We are happy to announce the details of the 2022 AAKF Spring Seminar, hosted by the AAKF Great Lakes Region and the Madison Japanese Karate Club. Over three days of training we will focus on instructor training, and the further development of traditional karateka.
The instruction will be performed by the members of the AAKF Technical Board. The tentative schedule below is subject to change. If there is sufficient youth attendance, there will be dedicated youth sessions.

Friday, April 22
- 5 pm to 7 pm (all ranks training, adults only): Room 510, Lathrop Hall, 1050 University Avenue, Madison, WI 53706
Saturday, April 23
Location: Cafenasium Gym, West High School, 30 Ash Street, Madison, WI 53726
- 8:30 am to 10:30 am - all ranks training
- 10:45 am to 12:45 pm - all ranks training
- 2:15 pm to 4:15 pm - instructor training:
- 4:30 pm to 6 pm - Rank and technical qualifications exams
Please note: Examination fees are according to the AAKF fee schedule, and they are in addition to any participation fees.

Participation Fees
Current (2022) AAKF members (registered online by April 20, or mailed registration postmarked by April 16):
- Adults (18 and older): $100.00 all sessions, $70.00 for one day, or $50.00 for one session
- Youth (17 and younger) and current students (high school or college): $80.00 for the whole seminar, $50.00 for one day, or $30.00 for one session
Current (2022) AAKF members (registered online after April 20, or mailed registration postmarked after April 16 or at the door):
- Adults (18 and older): $120.00 all sessions, $90.00 for one day, or $70.00 for one session
- No youth or student discount
Non-AAKF members will pay additional $40 to the fees listed above. If you are interested in membership, please don't hesitate to contact us.
All current AAKF USA Team members can attend free of charge.
